Woooo, you're going to go down SO well on here Better 'book knowledge' than no knowledge at all. The brown waffenfarbe for KL personnel wasn't introduced until well after the black uniform was withdrawn.

I got the breeches directly from the carrier 1980 (concentration camp guards in the camp Loibl) why the brown piping remains a mystery and is not crap

I see few years ago the same model Trousers with white colour

but not for allgemeine SS uniform.

May be used very short time after war by the Austrians (also gendarmerie or musicant)

Wewelsburg - Please stick to SA items, as you obviously know NOTHING about the SS. If you did your homework, you'd know that "directly from the carrier 1980" is the Austrian translation for "right-out-of-the-woodwork", and therefore should never be questioned. Shame on you X 3

It actually means that he received them out of first (ex SS-TV man´s own) hands and household in 1980.

My post was intentionally sarcastic to highlight the fact that stories of how an item is acquired, while interesting, are essentially worthless in determining it's originality or purpose. That's why they're called "stories". I have no reason at all to doubt Bleiburg1945, but posting an item on the forum, and then questioning the knowledge and credentials of forum members who dare to criticize the item, is ridiculous. The adjectives "crap & fantasy" may seem harsh, but were likely used to illustrate the fact that the pants are unlikely to be what they were claimed to be.

First off there are NO piped SS Jodpuhr breeches of ANY kind in black,or grey for that matter,and certainly not piped in brown.The only LEGIT piped SS pants I know of were long trouser type pants,piped WHITE for Black SS uniforms and LIGHT GREY for Grey/Green SS UNIFORMS.Again JUNK..FANTASY. Brown waffenfarbe wasnt introduced until around 41/42 AFTER it was changed from recon.,by this time the Black uniform had been almost completely phased out except for Stammabteilung SS reservists.Do your homework.FIND ME ONE BOOK OR COLLECTOR WHO AGREES WITH YOU,we wont hold our breath!

Then I may have the only original pipied pair in existance. The piped breeches are very well made and are unquestionably from the period. IMO.
