I would be a little nervous to invest in a ss ring these days, and even more nervous when all the details is gone.

But the ring is looking good, i like it- but i am no expert when it comes to jewelry.

        Ring

I think the ring is fine. I had a ring with the same date, and though the inside engraving IS a little different on this one, the overall quality of the engraving is very similar. The joiner line looks EXACTLY like it should on this ring, and the wear and scratches are very believable , IMO. Compare the nice parina on this ring with the other one it was pictured with earlier. I firmly believe that TK rings were NOT pure silver, but definitely alloyed. They have a color that is different than silver rings. It's subtle, but it's there. This ring has the right color, IMO. Usually, 21.12.44 rings have a very fine, thin lined Himmler signature - finer than the rest of the engraving on the same ring. This ring has what appears to be thicker lines in the signature, but possibly just due to being done by a different engraver. Could be the photograph. This signature is also missing the usual little line that appears on rings at the bottom of the "r" at the end of Himmler. It also seems somewhat unusual that the "l" & "b" in "S.lb." has seriffs at the top, but probably just a variable. Just pointing out things I noticed, but I still think the ring is probably good. I'm not Don Boyle, but my COA is free. I'd really HAVE to hold it in my hand for a COA, but if I gave one from photos alone, I'd give it to this one .

          Patina

          I meant "patina", not parina.

I guess I should have stated that Don Boyle already gave it his approval.
