SS Honor ring from the vet´s family!

Please have a look on this SS honor ring. It´s directly from the owner´s family (same name) and I think this is an original ss ring without any doubts.
It´s in worn condition but an early ring from 30.06.34.
I made an offer to the family and I hope I will get it. The family will offer the ring to other guys so I think about to make a better offer. I have no experiences with a value of these ss rings. If anybody can say what a fair value is please PM to me (please don´t write open in this thread, I don´t want support my competitors in this "ring fight" ;-)
The name is Heckert. Someone can tell more about Mr. Heckert?

Ring

The ring has the overall appearance of being original (The vet-family story is likely legit, but collectors ALWAYS have to follow the Golden Rule of collecting -"Buy the item, NOT the story".) I feel the ring is probably original, but nothing can be taken for granted in this field. I don't like the way the lettering is too high, but the fact that it appears to be very even, and well executed, it's probably OK. The inscriptions on early rings tend to be larger than on later rings, so the numbers are probably OK too, but they're definitely BIG!! I have more of a problem with the Himmler signature. It looks too small, and poorly done. This could very well just be due to the photo itself. VERY likely a good ring, but if you post good closeups of the Himmler Signature, that should erase any doubt.
