I can't say whether or not the tag is right in terms of what's on it, but I know I have seen simmilar tags on authentic armbands. I like it, is that red wool?

I agree with panzerzacker. I like the multi-piece swastika, the corregated type material for the swastika and back drop appear right. If the red is wool and not felt, that's a good sign. I'll also leave the tag for somebody else. Although correct type for that style of armband, I can't say 100% the RZM number is correct for this SS armband.

Jorn, the RZM tag has a 21 over a 35. I believe the 21 is the hersteller or maker identification number and the 35 is the year of manufacture(1935). I really like this armband and IMHO, it's a good one.

I like it. The slightly oval shape to the white roundal is a good sign.

                  Cheers, Ade.

What does the "St" stand for?

It is IMO unusual to have a label with "st" on it on this type of insignia as this would indicate the item was embroidered.

Having said that the contract code is correct for this band, and i have seen enough non regulation positioning of labels, especially with this contract code, the reason why is anyone's guess.
From the photo's the band look OK,
                      cheers,

Below are some pictures of original bands, one think I would like to point out is I hear it a lot when people talk about the circle being oval, while a lot are oval this does not mean that the totally round ones are fakes because they are not.

I will start with a few labels that you can find on the back of brassards

Gary, My guess is that the st(embroidered tag) was probably nearest available when the regular supply became exhausted. Things manufactured often have an overlap of items on hand compared to items needed. In a perfect world, the workers making the bands would go home for the day because proper tags ran out But seriously, IMHO the contractor used what was available to keep production flowing. Just my opinion.
