    That is the "Hounds tooth" variety shown from the checkered pattern to the outside edge towards the strands. The pic is not clear but still this can be seen.. They pop up from time to time and I have held one in hand. They are very well made but most consider them high end repros. There is a thread on these somewhere.



    NOTE ** & for some reason this type of weave all seem to show up on hand embroidered AH titles.. That I have seen anyway.

              You can say whatever you want about the embroidery, but flawed or not, I think the band material is original pre-45 stock.
