              Just at a quick glance the liner doesn't match the wear of the salty sweatband. Would love to see the pasteboard.

                That's a real one.
                Eagle is Assmann and skull is Deschler. Both real. Nice.
                Sweatband has been repaired / replaced at one time.

                    I agree with Peter's comments. But I have held this visor in my hands a couple of weeks ago in the UK and most say it's an honest visor

                        Hi all

                        Preliminarily, I have to state that I do not know Sal and I'm not in business with him and so this is not a covert propaganda activity. This visor is currently on the e-stand for about $ 6000 since almost two weeks and it does not find a buyer. It was discussed about five years ago with the following outcomes:
                        - Doubts about the consistency of the lining with the sweatband and request of images of the pasteboard, which remained unanswered;
                        - Real visor, nice badges, sweatband repaired/replaced
                        - I like it ... honest visor
                        That's all and frankly it seems to me a bit too little conversation for such a “caliber” visor. Can we carry out a fruitful analysis or am I who do not see what is obvious?
                        Considering that I am the revitalizer of this thread, just to improve my knowledge on this subject and without ulterior motive, I will be the first to formulate my own suggestions:
                        I like it very much and I can not find any weakness (a pity that it is not within the reach of my pockets), even if the sweatband’s repair was starkly made, but I'm also curious, as Kreager, to see the pasteboard. May I see also what's written on the paper label that seems to be turned to the contrary and stuck into the sweatshield?

                        Best regards

                          Nice visor. Unsold cause it has a dealer price.

                              It probably matched at one time. Assmann zinc insignia almost always loses it's silver finish over the years - giving that mismatched look.

                              The cap looks like a good one to me.
