SS Cloth Insignia - Need Opinions

These 2 SS Cloth Insignia came from a son of a Vet here in town, along with several other items. I know the other items are original, and, I believe the SS Cloth is too. However, being SS, I want to get your opinions BEFORE I try to sell them, just to make sure.

    Thanks in advance, CHUCK

The 2 sleeve eagles are original ... whether they belong to the material they are sewn to is another question.

The trapezoid seems to have no black welt surround and is a fake in my opinion.

As good old Meat Loaf said "Two outa three ain't bad"

The eagle looks like a tan afrika eagle, the trap is definitely bad

The fact it's a relatively common tropical (not Afrika) eagle on a wool scrap would give me cause for concern ... so long as you don't pay more than the cost of a loose eagle though you can't go wrong. Certainly don't pay a premium for it as a 'cut off'.

I´m not sure if i understand correct.
Is a cut off more worth than a sigle insignia? But he should not pay more than a single insignia, so you don´t believe, that they are really cut-off´s. Is this correct?
I don´t like to collect dut-offs, that´s the reason for my question.

They seem to be tropical, but sewn on a green tunic? Not real cut-offs, i agree.

Yes, it carries a certain battle-worn premium

Precisely This is only my personal belief but tropical sleeve eagles are common and cut-offs are not. Add to that the fact it comes with a fake trap .....

Too add to what is already said above, no prof has even been shown that any tropical version sleeve eagle ever was sewn on to a continental uniform.
But a lot of "fake - put together" cut offs has been sold with the tropical eagle.
All post war "fake" creations so far. Buy them only for the price of a tropical eagle alone and a subraction because they have been messed with. Fair price would be USD 70-90 each. Not more.
