Being sent to me for approval

This SS officers side cap is being sent to me for approval. This is the only picture I have of it at the moment. It is said to be in well worn but good condition and is straight from the home of a recently deceased US Army veteran.

Looks good from that pic. I would not recommend actually wearing it though.

Thats a fine flat wire skull which is a good start as they are very rare. Hard to judge if the cap eagle is a flat wire, but it might well be, but its an original.

For the cap itself probably more pics should be posted.

Thanks guys, I appreciate the input. I had that "warm and fuzzy feeling" when I first saw the picture and also thought the skull was alu. flatwire too. I'll post more pics when it arrives.
