In light of what's happened with the black cap and people getting burnt, I feel it prudent to warn everyone about the cap in this thread.

I'm 99% certain it is fake. Prehaps Chris and Nick can confirm as they also have seen these around before.

I tend to agree with Ben on this one. I think poor quality internal workmanship.
One would expect better attention to the pleats as well as the material used.
