Have you been told what feature of this collar patch
they find makes it a reproduction?

Construction of the letter "E" is totally wrong and the texture of the black cloth is wrong (I've seen about ten 2nd pattern Est.Div. tabs and they all have the similar black cloth - visible on the pictures I'm posting below).
There excists an Est.Div. 2nd pattern tab where the E and the sword are a bit thinner but the one showed here on the first post isn't the one.
