Runic tab

Are u absolutely sure he brought back that runic tab? That would be a kick if he did. Can you please check that.

Hello all,

Some mixed reviews on the tab. If it is a fake it sure fooled me.

I acquired these from a "picker" I know who stated they came from the Vet's estate sale. These came with a Heer sport shirt eagle that is authentic and a Mother's cross in silver.

Not that it will change the opinions of the doubters, but it smells identical to the other insignia that came in the lot. When I get home I'll black-light it for everyone.

Any other opinions?

There is no sarcasm in this question, I respect your opinions and let's get to the bottom of this. An oddball piece with the runes slightly off-center but authentic or a complete post-war reproduction?

The two photos I am attaching to this comment show underneath the runes as well as the material in which they were constructed - which appears to me (and I am a novice) to be identical to other bullion rune tabs I have handled.
