SS Skull ? and trap

Hello chaps I want to sell the traps what would be the value and should I cut them in half ( into 2 separate traps) What is the metal skull for any ideas thankyou Rob

I wouldn't touch the 2 traps with a knife or a pair of scissors. Leave them the way they are and wait for your price. They don't eat much so why do any cutting??

My guess is that the skull pin is for a post WW1 German veterans club/ militia.

Assman had several skulls similar to this one in their catalog from the period. I have the page.

Looks a lot like #17433 ....can you show a close up of the traps front.

Thanks for all the info guys I wont be cutting them , the Skull does look like the Assman ones I will have to locate a price then I can sell them . Cheers Rob
