For those wondering about the 'B' tag on the bordered tab ............. it's actually an enlisted tab that has been upgraded. Here's the other side.

There's a photo of an upgraded one like this being worn in one of the 'Camp Men' or 'Field Men' books.

No problem at all with this skull tab and the E tag.
This correlation is absolute legit, a very nice tab and exceptional rare.
The piping around does not matter for this tag, it was used on tabs w or w/o piping.

              Robin,
              A4/20: Richard Nitzsche of Eibenstock.
A4/374: Lothar v. Dreden of Elberfeld.
Are you sure about the 121916 '20' label?

                Robin

Robin, there is a pic of an Officer wearing a Tab like that in "Camp Men" and many other places. Shiny bullion can get your head shot off, but I still like it. I love that Tab. Very nice. Just to be clear this is your Tab below, not mine. heh heh heh yet C'mon I need that Ehrennadel for a very good reason.

Some say I look at the World through Rose Coloured Glasses and well.. they are correct.

                  Thanks, Derek.

                  That's great.

The 121916 is on the back of this ........................

This has the officer border, and an 'F' tag.

Could the 'E' tag have been for the borderless types ???

Slightly less work in making these.

It's the most prettiest tab i've ever seen!!

If I ever could add one to my collection..

                            I agree.

I bought that thing about 20 years ago, and it's been in a case ever since.

Now that I look at it with 'fresh eyes' ............. the tag is definitely wrong.

I think we can be in this game for 100 years, and still get caught out from time to time.
