TK ring question

Hi guys, do any of you fine gents know how wide the original TK rings were.
I have seen figures of 5mm, 6mm or 7mm.
Were the 1930's models skinnier than the war period rings?
I have been studying all the fine macro pics here and trying to get a feel for how big they actually are.

Totenkopfrings

The totenkopfring band (not the skull) is approximately 7 mm. My ring, which was purchased directly from Don Boyle many years ago, and has moderate to heavy wear, technically measures less (6.9mm for example) - depending what part of the band is measured. The earlier style ring had a band that was the same, I'm pretty sure, except that the early style has a less convex profile (It's flatter)!! Always happy to help.
