I saw one sale for around $1,000.00 a few years ago, but haven't seen one recently. They are getting hard to locate.

Once you heard that a book was selling for $1000 a few years ago, why would you sell yours for $300.

I thought the first edition was printed in 1993.I have one dated that way.Are those really that hard to find ?

$1000. is crazy... The black hard cover book is his latest and probably last edition.
Yes, they were a few hundred a few years back..

Don has had them reprinted and they are available on the 'Militarynut' site..

prices fluctuate on book seller sites

I think i just saw one yesterday on the used book sites for 200 $.
And a few years ago i did see it going for 1000 $.
I know they were selling for 125 dollars about 8 years ago.
One must really take the book seller prices with a grain of salt. Those guys see that no one else is offering their book(in their venue) at any moment and decide to ask outrageous prices just to see what happens...then another guy sees that price and decides that is what it is worth. then a few years later-when those books are not for sale anymore, another seller decides it is worth 200 $

it is a cycle I have seen over and over.
