    Plate

Plate appears to be original, and "Victoria" was a common manufacturer of SS mess ware. As long as the logo is under the glaze, and not printed on top, it's very likely a good piece. People don't like to give values on the forum, as then the price seems "locked in" to some degree. In other words, if you want more for it, someone will say, "But the guy on the forum says it's worth............ " You get the idea. Having said that - I imagine $100-$200 is in the ballpark. Hey you SS guys out there without much money - SS original photographs, SS newspapers, and also SS mess ware is probably the best value out there for the budget-minded SS collector, if there IS such a thing!! My very heavy SS mess bowl made by Bohemia of Czechoslovakia cost $100 a long time ago, and prices are still fairly reasonable.

Looks a nice and original mess hall plate. I would agree that the resale price would be 100-200 USD, however given the current climate you would probably get near the lower end of the price scale.
