I've looked at a ton of M1/52 skulls here, but saw none having prongs with blunt, rather than pointed ends. What do you guys think?? The detail and mark looks OK as do the mounting pads.

Opinions would be appreciated.

I believe this was discussed recently and it was said to be a fake.

Thanks Ian, any chance you could remember what it was about it that earned it a thumbs down? I've pretty much looked at every Thread on Deschler TKs and couldn't find this particular style discussed.

The prongs look like the same type used on fake M1/52 skulls that are
jaw stamped 900 made to deceive. The prongs are brittle and break fairly easily.

Thanks Ian, you are a classy guy for taking the time to look the other Thread up and post the link here. It is really a bummer when guys who commented with conviction on that Thread neglected to make a single comment on this one - even when I saw them viewing this.
