M44 Dot on E-Stand

I am not familiar with SS camo and wanted to know what the gang thinks of the set on E-stand. I'm sure it is find, but I am really trying to learn the material.

I was hoping some of the camo gurus could also educate me on what to look for with a set like this.

I have heard stocks of pea dot were left in France post war and there are repro sets out there made from original material. Anyone else heard this?

Hello Naval, this is a set you can sleep comfortably with, it is correct in every aspect I look for, and just a wonderful set. It is as far as these sets go a one looker, and you would be hard pressed to find another one this nice. I wish I could get it, but I'm a bit dot overloaded right now This is not something made postwar from left over stock, I have a pair of pants that are a twin to this one. This set is not cheap, however, nice things seldom are, and I believe these sets will continue to command even greater prices as some collectors get fed up with the repro wool items. This jacket has a lot going for it, a good SS BW stamp, and a good large size, 102, you dont see that very often

Don't be afraid, just research about the staff that you like and get them all - wool, camo, does not matter.. all TR collecting fields are terrifying nowadays but it only adds more thrill and fun to this hobby / good staff hunting

Fakers have made a lot of different dot-camo uniforms from original left-over material after the war. I have one of those pants - if not to pay attention to construction details, it could easily fool even camo experts.
