Hello, I have a gentleman wanting to sell me his SS Hat. I do not believe it to be correct but could be wrong. Please share your comments with me on this one. I will post the photos I have.

M43 ss cap

This cap is not correct. Fake scull and the ss tag inside does not belong in this kind of cap. Also the leather sweatband inside is not correct in a NCO M43 cap and even hardly seen in the officer version of the M43 cap.

It might be a 1950's Austrian Heer M43, those thave such full leather sweatbands like this...
All insignia as indicated = bad
