And insignias worn on a sport jacket?
      Also note the shoes?

I may be way off, but my first impression was that this is a female, regardless of the outfit.

IMHO its an Allgemeine SS skier about 1938 or so..probably one of the best skiers...wearing his phsyical training sweats kit with a jaunty black beret and full matching insignia thruout..A symbol of pride, accomplishemnet, a puss magnet for and a hey look at me for the rest of the packoff the slopes and well executed to boot!!

              Billbert

              THANKS FOR SHARING !!

              note ski boots also...

Thanks for the input so far. The photo is 100% original. This soldier was part of the TV, but I have never seen anything like that uniform before. The beret is Condor-Legion, but normally it would have a Heer panzer-skull on it..?

                More input welcome!

Although now taking a very hard look at the foto..the fingers particularly..and the chiseled features..we may have a scrawny athlete without a ounce of fat.. OR his girlfriend ...Billbert

The skull would be extremely similar to/same as the early jawless SS pattern rather than a Heer collar tab skull.

Wonderful picture but I cannot help thinking it looks like Frank Spencer.

So the guy is a SS-Sturmann in the TK. Are there cyphers on the shoulder boards? And there seem to be litzen on the outside ends of the boards?

Maybe this is an actor from a postwar cabaret or theater dressed as SS? Both Americans and Russians loved roles where they made fun of Hitler and the Nazisystem.

                            Again thanks for the input.

Like I said: he isn't a reenactor, actor, GI or female etc. Here we have him again:

Can you use a Glass-Lens to magnify the shoulderboard cyphers? at least to understand if is a number or cypher.i agree the key would be this source, but as an old picture is not possible to crop and resize it, unless you have a trust photographic lab on hand and the negative-film.

                              regards,
                              Salvatore
