Waffen ss tailor made M-43 cap

Hi Guys
Have you ever seen a M-43 cap like this one?
I think it is a belgian tailor made cap.
Belgian made SS Officer's eagle.
Probably SS pips.
Army edelweiss like the Belgians walloon beard on their skymutzen.
I know this cap for forty years and not in a collection.
Opinions are welcome.

Honestly I never saw such an artifact.It will be interesting a more qualified opinion.

I like it and I like the eagle too. Looks very believable, but I would take what I say with a grain of salt on M-43's. I'm sure more will weigh in.

The eagle is definately a smaller version of the Belgian made sleeve eagle designed for a cap.

I do not doubt this is an original unique piece.

Some observations. The lining seems to be cut short. Why it doesn't come up the sides under the sweatband I have no idea. Materials seem authentic. There a lot of buckram here, unusual for an M43. Isn't the edelweiss a post war version? I'm not a big expert on this badge but was told that wartime ones should have 5 holes.
