Found on a fleamarket in Vervier-Liege (not by me) twoo month ago...
I know few other SS marked pairs in Europe and USA, all with the same features (M37 style but I think M44 do exist) but it is the first opportunity for me to get one. Enjoy

Great pair! - here is my M44 pair, showing identical sole-markings as yours. The ink-markings are worn away. Maybee the comparison to your pair will eliminate the doubts for mine...:
