But it is interesting that it does look like it was a real SD cufftitle.

        Painted

I know a Guy who found some painted titles out of the woods, now if he will share his pics. He is a Forum Member.

          Cuff Title

I think the basic band is bogus also (weave pattern).

I have seen original hand embroidered cuff titles where the unterlagen is white paint instead of cardboard. I believe the paint was stencilled on to use as a template for hand embroidery.

                    Band

The band is a perfectly original RZM band. It once had a roman numeral III, IMO, look close. Someone stenciled the "fantasy" SD title on it and abandoned the project for reasons only they know.

If you are referring to the letters "tsd", then that's a bit of a stretch. I still say the band itself is not original either.

The Roman Numeral III also looks like it was painted on but hard to say for sure....can the seller post a picture of that area?

Maybe the III is the painted unterlagen to the band as it originally was- as per Bob's info-

OH, just read Charles' post, interesting...

You have your opinion, I have mine. And this cuff title is not worth 350 Euros by any stretch of the imagination. Would you buy it at that price?
