I need help regarding a ground dug death skull ring!

    Hi there,

I have a confirmed "dug up" ring from the area of "Kurland Fortress" near Libau. It is an small simple death skull ring and if I look closely I can spot what looks like small leafs all around. I recently cleaned the ring with chemicals and now all details are visibly.

Any ideas what military unit it might belonged to?! I mean if the skull engraving is well known to you?

    Thank you for all help!

First: All skullrings could have been worn by every german branch. Just the SSTK was only worn by Ss soldiers or sometimes high leaders of other branches.

Your dug ring is ebay junk.

As some members told you before, please change your source of dug rings. He or she or they just want to betray you and steal your hard owned money!

I agree, its not a fancy ring its very simple. But the fact is that it was actually discovered with a metal detector in the kurland area. The skull is attached with an old soldering.

To make a completely honest statement ....

Take 1 fake ring, drop it on the ground in 'the Kurland area' use a metal detector to find it (again) et voila .... one skull ring found by metal detector in the Kurland area.

I'm sure there are reputable and honest people who dig for relics but just look at the item and not swallow the story ... hook, line and sinker.

            Ian.
