SS collar tab , good or bad ??

Well, we need to add this one to the fakes threads to keep things up to date. This is a bad tab.

IMO the runes look to be slanted incorrectly. They appear to be almost ninety degrees.

There has been a long debate among collectors about these style of runes. Some likes them and think they are original and some say they might be original and some say fake.
Some war time manipulated photos (to enhance the sexiness and glory of SS in the photo - same phenomena can be seen as extra effects on knights crosses in pics etc) of mostly portraits has led us to believe they were common. It is a possibility that there exists a few special design originals.

This particular collar tab would not be for me because of the style of runes, but also based on the long over folds and thick black flelt cloth.
