    Folk Art Tile

Here's an interesting piece that I just picked up, showing a young Aryan family. Note the life rune on the craddle. I think that this tile was part of a larger work.

I've seen one or two years ago but with different subject matter. This type of Folk rual art seems to have been popular in the 30's.

Not unless they're doing each one by hand!

                sunflowers

I like the sunflowers. This is somthing I have seen before as a youthful motif. Added to the more obvious known symbols --- it is very nice.

Sorry about the no boobs guys, but I think that this tile really represents the back to the soil/ family thinking of the times.

I want your Tile. I like it. It has a "Blondie" Cartoon Comic Strip sort of vibe.

A collector friend who worked in Germany many years ago remembered seeing these type of tiles in public buildings and they were later removed due to their NSDAP subject matter. Could there be a Lebensborn connection to this tile due to it's subject matter?????

I doubt it is connected to Lebensborn or even any other organization.
It's heritage, that's all I can say about this tile.

See the German never wore white socks, even back to these days

I agree Robert that it's a culture piece in line with NSDAP Folklore.
