The Dutch documentary is about the silbertanne aktion. This was the reaction of german and dutch national socialist when a lot of them were killed by the resistance.
The man with the hat is Heinrich Boere who was recently sentenced by a german court. He was a dutch ss volunteer, who after several front duties and being wounded I believe was sent back to Holland.
He was ordered to do this kind of killing as repraisal.

        Hello,

I think Robert would like to show this video: Wewelsburg

@Robert: You post twice the same link, so I think you would show us the link above

        1. Content "Wewelsburg" video clip:
Showroom about the SS cult in the Wewelsburg.
(And the bad, very bad AND angrily SS sorry for my personal evaluation, but when you can understand the spoken text, you know what I mean. The "report" is very lurid in my opinion.)

        2. Content "Hollaendische SS" video clip:
        - Holland under the swastika
        - The resistance attacked German and Dutch Nazis
        - The SS ordered retribution
        - Dutch collaborators killed "random victims" (in the third video the speak from resistance fighters in the first two seconds in the clip)
        - The assumed name for the killings "Silbertanne" (silver fir tree)
        - 3rd September 1944 in the village Voorschoten (Holland) two Dutch collaborators killed a bicycle dealer
        - In the early morning they knocked on his door and told them, that they are from the police and wanted to see his passport
        - As they saw the passport the opened the fire and killed him
        - The bicycle dealer had a family with 5 children
        - One of his sons is speaking (his name "Teun de Groot")
        - Between the years 1943 and 1944 the "Silbertannen" murders killed over 50 persons
        - The "Silbertannen" murders belong to the SS, they were Dutch people who killed there own fellow countrymen
        - After the war this people were convicted by special Dutch courts
        - After that you will hear from one special person (his name "Heinrich Boere")
        - Mr. Boere is one the killers from the bicycle dealer (in the video he recognize the act, but he said also that it was necessary)
        - The Dutch court convicted him first to dead, later to lifelong prison sentence but Mr. Boere escaped to Germany (in the village Eschweiler near the city Aachen)
        - There he lived for over 50 years
        - Germany did not extradite Mr. Boere because of a law from Hitler. This law made people like Mr. Boere to "Reichsdeutsche" and later to "Bundesbürger" ("Bundesbürger"=citizen of the Federal Republic of Germany).
        - Mr. Boere is 82 years old, when the reporter knocked on his door
        - The reporter said, that the German court will do nothing against Mr. Boere and that the Dutch court apply for help
        - Another reporter asked Mr. Boere if he was proud to be at this group and he answered: "Yes of course! We did everythink to make the enemy away. (...) I fell me as a German, I feelt constrained to fight for. We did it on the front and why not here? That is the same."
        - After that you can see the son of the bicycle dealer and his wish is a prison sentence for Mr. Boere

        3. Content "NS war criminal" video clip: LINK
        - In this video you can hear that the German court convicted Mr. Boere to a lifelong prison sentence for three killings
        - Mr. Boere is 88 years old by the judgment
        - In this video you will get the information that the killings were dastard and coward
        - The jurists also said, that Mr. Boere didn`t show remorse or guilt

This translation has no demand on completeness and did not reflect my opinion. Also it is not an assessment, it is only the attempt to show you the content.

Words/phrases which are written in cursive are not in the content from the video. That are personal comments!

        Regards Dagaz

            Robert,

thank you very much for adding this!

I will give my comment about both Wewelsburg curators and "SS-experts" lateron.

Concerning the case of the dutch SS-member one can wonder and ask if the surviving killers of the resistance ever had been confronted and sentenced to imprisonment for being murderers in that time as well after 1945 - I bet my a** I already know the answer.

Dutch resistance members were mostly all cleared by the courts after the war for the killings.Their actions were seen as war actions and as such not seen as murder in the common way.

Some did get some sentences, because they did kill for money or other reasons. Some asked jews large sums of money and then killed them !
