Question about SS-Ausweis

Hello guys,

Just a question I have in my mind since few days: what's the difference, if any, between SS-ausweis issued to Allgemeine members and Waffen-SS?
And, there's any difference between SS numbers given to Allgemeine and Waffen SS members?

Quick and Easy Summary

I would say that the cardboard ausweise were generally issued to members of the Allgemeine-SS, green oilcloth ausweise to the SSVT and SSTV, and soldbucher to the Waffen-SS.
