    Interesting SS Hat Skull

This is a recent find. I think it is another 'missing link' in the Deschler saga.

Very nice early piece. This one is very rare, I only saw two of those in my collecting years.

            Skull

I am suprised that this skull has not been discussed more since bob posted it . I do not have one and would like to know among us here how many of these are accounted for on the forum . when and by who are they produced ?

An early Deschler. Made somewhere between the D&SM and the RZM52. IMO.

Do these early skulls also show all/some of the die flaws as explained in this earlier thread by SSCollector.

Chris (SS Collector) examined it, in hand, when I went to visit him last month.

                              Hi Bob,

Out of interest, what's your opinion on these with regard to the production sequence - would you say (as Peter mentioned) D&SM then Ges Gesch and then the 52 skulls or would you put the Ges Gesch skulls before the D&SM?

                              Cheers
                              Chris
