    SS visor cap

    Post it to share. Interesting visor cap obtained from theatre or museum - preserved inventory numbers. The chinstrap not original to the cap and was replaced. Shame about visor damage : ( Well marked inside: maker mark, size mark 58 - (pretty big !), and year of production - 1943.

    I would be very concerned as to originality with this! Sorry, there's nothing there that looks even half-way right!

        Hm ... well. Thanks for info. Interesting who made this cap or from what cap it was converted to SS ? Any ideas ?

          I think it is a complete post war reproduction... The piping looks like it would glow under UV!

            No. it does not glow. But I find out - this is local produced cap and repro at all.
