SS officer collar tabs... info please.

These tabs came in a small collection of IIIrd Reich material I just purchased. Without going into a boring story it's all good stuff with provenance but not from a vet so caveat emptor rears it's ugly head! First, memory fails...who wore officer rank with a runic tab & a blank tab? And second I welcome commentary on the tabs authenticity. I'll try an post pics but may come through as a link...we'll see if I can get the hang of this!

Hello Andrew answering to your qeustion : there where none office,s that would do that
If this is a period couple of collar tab,s theu where unissuded one,s so the rank could alway,s be made up by the person or tailor of the uniform

Im not in the collar-tabs so I really cant, say or these are good or bad

I also can say that the SD worn no ss-rune,s but a blank-tab

Andrew the pictures are not the best I do not know if its because they have been uploaded to a website or not, but anyway they (from the pictures) look OK to me, I would guess they are on moleskin?, and are an unissued pair hence the lack of pips on the rank side tab.

Is it possible to see better pictures?, if you send me a PM and I will send you my e-mail address, will also resize the photo's if needed for posting here as well.

Thanks for the notes and the guys that emailed me directly. Does appear they are fine tabs as I expected but the blank is unfinished. I appreciate the info, sorry the pics aren't better.
