Sorry for the ramblings of a tipsy forum member, but hey, the backstory is ALMOST as good as the items themselves. Its brutaly cold so I went for a walk to my local pharmacy to get a script filled ( mom and pop joint, in business since the 30s!) It was dead inside except for an elderly gentleman ( ie grumpy old b*****d
) I prayed hed stop ranting and raving and I could make a quick exit. I steered the conversation toward antiques & collecting, especially how Id been buying any vintage item for our town) ok Im rambling here so I went to his house to buy this awesome 1950s poster for a midget car race & as the minutes turned to hours, I also was able to pick these as well! Guys, its still out there! As uncomfortable it is to ask people about it, ASK ASK ASK!!!!!!!!Well I made out like a bandit. And I have a good buddy for life! Thanks Roy, you grumpy old p***k!
