Getting there - slowly.

This has been a bit of a pig's ear. I was trying to post pictures of 4 different rings in various states of wear & tear, but some of the files were too big to be accepted. This is the first day with the digital camera and the third day on the computer, so it'll need to be try, try and try again.

Very nice ring...

...always wanted one of those!

When a file is too large, what I do is email it to myself. There is an
option there to make it smaller. I do this and then when I receive
it, I save it to attachments (jpeg). It then goes to 'My documents'
and waits there (patiently) for me to retrieve it when I want to
attach it to a post. Hey it works! I'm sure there are many other
ways, but this is one that I figured out with my PC-illiterate brain.

I forgot to add that when it is in 'My documents', I also crop all of
the unnecessary background out of it to save even more space.
