    Slovakian sleeve eagles in use

    Hi,
Has anyone seen a period photo of slovakian volunteers wearing the Slovakian sleeve eagle. I guess there weren't many of them and after the war they probably destroyed what evidence there was of their existence. Backlash and all.
Thanks to you all for such an educational forum.

I think there is a misconception with regards to so called "Slovak SS" eagle. To my understanding the eagles were not worn by any volunteers or any SS formations. The eagle was made for Slovak Volksdeutch groups as part of their uniform but not worn by any combat units.

I saw one picture with these eagles for Slovak Hlinka Guard. They used them on regular army tunics. They are vere rare.

In the land of the blind, the one eyed man is king.

Duct tape can't fix stupid, but it can muffle the sound.
