Hi gents,
I really would like to collect SS but I have picked up a few fakes in the past.
So I am reading my heart out, and taking my time. Trouble is I dont have the necassary skills just yet, hence the question.
I have been offered this cap.
The seller very kindly sent me these pics. Does this cap, stand a chance of being the real deal?

It looks like a put together. Original skull and eagle have been added.
The cloth tag inside does not belong to the cap in the first place, and is a reproduction.

Hi guys, its my cap and put it on with a starting price of £1000 but i may remove it as i have had mixed comments on this cap,im now thinking of sending away for another hands on,its a what do i do ,, some like and some dont,apparently the ss tag inside is wrong for this year of cap, rgds Dave
