    Set camo erbsentarn

    Would like to show you these curios ensamble of erbsentarn clothes. The tread was sewed of the wrong side. The camo was sewn on the inside and the white side on the outside.

              These were made as work clothes after the war using existing bolts of cloth, hence the camo on the inside and no pocket flaps. About 25 years ago I saw a jacket exactly as yours, about a year after that I saw a dealer with the same jacket where he had taken it apart and resewn it with the camo side out. Neat jacket and pants though.

                        Just because it is work clothing does not mean it is not really cool.
                        I love it !!!
                        I have blue herringbone work trousers with ss oak pockets and gusset .
                        this is what happened to cammo fabric after the war .

                          gents- i wonder too, if you unpeeled the 'patches' on the pants, if there isn't a 'P' and a 'W' under them, perhaps a pow uniform, marked?

                            I think this is the interior of the pants so probably no PW
