can someone please post pics or links to the different types of footwear that the germans/ russian/ jappanese/ american/ british troops wore in ww2

like gamaschen( is it spelled correctly),puttees, .. and maybee the interm pattern boots.
does anyone have photos of the greatcoat/overcoat/trenchcoat tucked into the boots

That's the last thing you'd want to do as you'd get wet feet as the rain ran down off the overcoat.
