    REAL Dutch SS Crusher!

    Just for sharing.
Maybe you like to see this named Dutch SS crusher. I dind't see much of these on the forum.

The cap came directly from the family afther he died in 1992.

The cap belonged to Dutch NSB member and Germaanse SS member:
Geerto Aeilko Sebo Snijder Born in Wintserwijk on 25 juni 1896 and died in Germany on 6 oktober 1992.

In november 1940 he joined the Ducht SS. and the NSB in 1941.
He was asked by Seys Inquart to found the "cultuurkring". intended for better cooperation with Germany.

He was one of the founders of de "Nederlandsche Duitsche Kultuurgemeenschap"

    He was awarded with:
    - The Goethe medal in 1937
    - the Totenkopfring in 1942.
And Hitler awardid him personnely with the German Merit Cross in the order of the German Eagle in the 1st Class. (Don't know exact name in English??)

I have a larger biography in Dutch if you like.

    Regards Jim

Picture's of him and the cap.

It came out of Germany by a friend of my father. And we have the cap safely stored for years.

                        Regards Jim
