"investment" advice

Hello everyone I would like some advice on a couple of items not a question about originality since they come from reputable sellers but I really can only afford one. its more a question about getting your moneys worth and not overpaying I could possibly stretch my tiny budget for this months SS items to $220 so I might be able to throw in a cheaper item such as a sleeve shield with these suggestions.

I have my eye on these.

From GDM 29th panzer grenadier collar tab for $140 or a sleave eagle fro $175

Dutch SS shield from the collectors guild is $140 a fair price cause I have seen the albanian shield for $108 which seems rather steep.

And one I realy like but not sure if it is SS or not it says it is an early style skull but How can you prove it? Also no marking 92 EUR

Well yeah cloth insignia,they all are except the skull I'm not focussing on just tabs or eagles or units.

Search tru the waf and you will find some reputable sellers who aren't that reputable.Don't buy something because someone is a reputable seller.
Buy because the item is real.

Investment was in quotes a pun on my comparatively microscopic budget for someone who wants to collect SS also college and just a weekend job don't help much.

Anyway I think I am going with the Dutch SS shield being Dutch and all and tag on a cheap albanian armshield.

But still would like to know if $140 is a reasonable price since the Albanian arm shield was listed for $108. Also do I have to pay commission on the collectors guild?

The only way to appreciate significantly in the short term is to buy something cheap that everyone's missed on Ebay or at a yard sale or similar BUT to do that YOU have to have the knowledge of what you're buying.

Buying from a dealer you have paid their profit margin above the value and that may take you 4 or 5 years to make up again.
