A very renown SS collector acquired that piece. He liked it...and so do I!

I have never seen a RZM marked fanfare trumpet.

The dealer on this site takes forever to update what is sold.

As for the collector who acquired it, that is up to him to disclose if he chooses.

                      Gtmvet427,

I am the new and very proud owner of the banner! You can see why I went after it.

The banner is a textbook piece with a long history behind it. I will not show close-ups of it, but as Mr. Toncar and Mr. Hritz stated in another thread, there are details in the embroidery that the fakers can not or have not been able to duplicate.

Also, to the non-believers of this piece, you truly have no idea what you are looking at and should, therefore not pursue into to world of SS cloth!!!

I have been a collector for over thirty years. It should be known that Mr. Toncar, Mr. Hritz, Mr. Pepera, and Mr. Delich have been collecting way longer than me and have seen or handled a ton of original SS material for a combined total of 150+ years! I consider all of them mentors, not only to me, but to this hobby. Their knowledge on the subject matter is un-rivaled and should be respected by everyone.

                      Regards, Grant

PS - I added a couple of gentlemen to the list of mentors who also have a vast knowledge in the SS collecting field.

A super banner, and I looked to it at one of the last years MAX or SOS shows for a long time. Pure pristine German quality, thats all I can say about it. I really would call D.Delich is another mentor in this field as well.

I did as well. I felt it was an exceptionally exciting item, and without a doubt, way out of my league . . .
