I only had a (possible) theorie about the Litzen on the collar and I only can rely on facts in pictures and not on documents (which can be forgered) , I rather don't have a discussion on it , why should I ?

You have been shown facts time and again and because these do not prove your theory you label them as forgeries. That is certainly unsound reasoning from where I stand.
It is human nature for people to disagree, that is perfectly acceptable behaviour. What is not acceptable is the constant attempt to "rubbish" genuine items in order to substantiate a theory, something which you have been found to do on several occasions.
I would love others to comment on this soldbuch and many people whose opinion I value, already have. Unfortunately, most other people are probably quite bored with all of this by now, and I for one can't blame them!!
If no other forum member wishes to have an input in this thread, may I suggest it be closed as I really do think it has run its course.

Because I now discovered that the Sturmscharführer was Krietemeyer and that the rank is not matching with the SB , and I repeat : the StapoStelle Dortmund was abolished on 2 '45 !!
It's not really a safe soldbuch and I think that nobody dares to give any comment.Last edited by Hardigan; 08-09-2009, 11:50 AM.

What have you discovered other than there are 2 pictures of the same man with different ranks? I would have thought that this would have been obvious even to an Amoeba, that it shows a mans natural progression through the ranks by way of a promotion!!! Again, prove to all that the Sturmscharführer ranked picture was taken BEFORE the Hauptscharführer ranked pic in the SB.
Oh...and the Gestapo office in Dortmund wasn't abolished per se. It was actually the post of Head of the StapoStelle that was abolished, and this was because a new post called Kommandeur der Sicherheitspolizei or KdS was created which combined the Dortmund Gestapo, KRIPO and SD under one officer-in-charge. However, you are quite right in that this was 2.45 but so what? I know what you are getting at and it's to do with the date on the bescheinigung, but please do enlighten us all and please tell us when EXACTLY in Feb '45 this change to KdS took place?
Originally posted by Hardigan View PostAlso the Bescheinigung is signed with another sign , not SS-Stubaf. Erich Roth who was the Kdr. til the end.
Hang on....Newsflash just in... "Bescheinigung must be a fake because it has someone elses signature on it" Do me a favour!!!
Plus, why does your "problem" with the bescheinigung mean that the SB is not safe???
And whilst we are on the subject of these KdS changes, the Gestapo HQ in Kattowitz was changed to a KdS in October 1944 and this change was reflected in the complete re-design of this 1945 issued Dienstausweis.....Attached FilesLast edited by SiPo; 08-09-2009, 04:03 PM.

....Could you please now take a real close look at the issuing office and date on this Dienstausweis.
Does it mean that this is a fake because it still has a reference to Stapostelle Dortmund instead of KdS Dortmund with a date after the change?
In fact don't bother answering, I will answer for you....NO IT BLOODY WELL DOESN'T!
(This Dienstausweis is ex J Gillespie collection. Unfortunately, the new owner of this Dienstausweis is unknown to me at this present time but should he wish this to be removed, then please contact me.)Attached FilesLast edited by SiPo; 08-09-2009, 03:44 PM.

That said, if you read the posts you will see that there have been numerous attempts to take the digression concerning the originality of the soldbuch to the correct forum. Hardigan has continued to use this thread in an attempt to discredit original items and as a result I have had no option but to use this thread in which to defend the originality of the said items.
To be honest, your post does not actually contribute to this thread at all other than to reiterate what Ive already said in posts 102 and 107, and what Simon said earlier than that, about either closing this thread or moving it, and I really don't see what all this has to do with people not wanting to post new threads?
Tom, this was about the jacket but is now about so much more and for that I make no apologies.Last edited by SiPo; 08-09-2009, 05:47 PM.
