          John, I'll take a stab at it. The runes are very flat, like there is no cardboard unterlagen under them, and they are narrow and closely spaced together. If they have the underlayment, I could live with the shape, though.

          The material looks plausible, and the wire braid as well. Neither are textbook, but IMO, acceptable.

          The back is where I have the trouble. This loose burlap material is not like anything I've seen on originals, though it is a feature on replicas. I am not comfortable with this part at all, and would pass on them for this reason.
