    SS tunic liner

I was wasting some time the other day when I stumbled across a tunic on a auction’s site. I have never seen a liner such as this. It’s listed as a tailor made tunic. I have never seen one with a cotton muslin liner. Could this be a last ditch? Oddly it looks completely lined it's almost thick in appearence? Manufacture is Bulag. I have a field blouse luft. Flak marked Bulag that liner is grey.

I assume it can be right, but to go sure I would say it need hands on for other details too exept to judge only the material or the color. Is the arm eagle sewn thru the liner?

The eagle is sewn through the liner. Is their any regulations on liners? Even if it was a taiolred tunic. Paul

I have seen a similar fabric used for a liner before . . . or at least I believe it may be similar - without having them side-by-side, it is difficult to say. At first I thought this one might be a very "worn" rayon (or something similar), but now I think this liner feels almost like a cotton muslin/linen type of fabric. It is not "heavy" so to speak, but it does have that type of texture/feel. I believe the tunic from which it comes is genuine all the way around . . . but then again, who really knows sometimes?

Brad.. Very interesting liner. I think the lighting made the other liner look a bit more yellow. Is your tunic a late war?

Can a company that manufacturing regulation tunics also make custom made tunics? Does anyone have any information on Bulag company?

Is this an SD tunic? N&T Global had a similarly lined one about 7 years ago. Sometimes soldiers had thier tunics relined but odd for an enlisted to do so.
