SS Gorget

A guy moved into my local antique shop and has several items for sale 1 of which is this gorget.Im no expert on SS items but I believe this to be a repro.
He also has a M42 SD helmet which I also took pics of he is asking $1600.00 for the gorget and $2300.00 for the M42.Jay Parisi

IMO your right when you said this is maybe a fake
take a look at the back then I mean the hook,s
they are of a very poor construction

but maybe I,m wrong

No maybe about it, it is a definate fake with the fake chain. It bears little resemblance to an original.
