I don't like this king of eagles with coke bottle body. have no evidences of its pre-1945 origin.
want expert advice/discuss.
by the way, what do you think about the whole tunic??

Good bird, no issues with the tunic either.

All insignias are good but another "D" tunic with no background. I would do a very in depth hands on before any purchase and I cant emphasize the word in depth enough.

Prior to his closing shop Kai Winkler had quite a few of this type eagle for sale loose. Weitze had one or two as well as Peter Von Lukacs on his site not that long ago..they were once considered very rare to find on a uniform or loose but then the internet arrived.

Too many never before seen tunics in the past 7-8 years showing up with no background Id be very skeptical.

and....a POR listing for something with no proof of origin is a bit overkill.
