Hello Gentlemen,
Well, I went to bed that night thinking I had completed a deal for the SS m43 cap, and awoke the next morning to find out the seller sold it to somebody else! Naturally, I was less than pleased.
I appreciate the comments and responses posted here, and I only wish I was able to acquire the cap, which I then would have offered to the WAF community on the e-stand.

Am sorry to hear you missed out but seller told me he hadnt sold it anybody he had just had an offer of $700 for it but hadnt accepted it , i thought his price of $1000 was bloody cheap so agreed to buy then asked for a fair price on my thread as didnt want to take his pants down, i gave him more than his asking price , rgds DaveComment

That is too bad, but well at this way the new owner and WAF member got the cap cheap, skipped the middleman and did not have to pay your commission.
