    Wendelborn Totenkopfring

Is there anybody that could tell me if this ring is good or bad?
I like that it is very worn, but I do not know much about these rings.
Can anybody tell me something about the owner Wndelborn?

Here is a link to the pictures:

I do not have any other pictures.

    Ring

I definitely would NOT buy this ring. Heavily worn rings don't bother me, but I think it's a reproduction designed to appear heavily worn. If you want to purchase a well-worn ring, remember that the inside engraving should still be intact, and look very nice. I've enclosed a photo of my worn ring, and notice that the engraving is still crisp. Good Luck!!

I have to agree with sgstandard about the chance to be a fake is higher in this kind, but in this particular case, i think it have some good points.

          Ring

Look at the 3rd photo from the bottom. Notice how the top of the Sig-Rune triangle disappears, and has a horizontal groove above it? The other Sig-Rune triangle is like that also. It is virtually impossible for a ring to wear like this. This is just one of many things wrong with this ring. Ironically, the inside inscription doesn't look TOO bad now that I looked closer, but you need better closeups. Notice also that there really isn't a seam, just 2 slots, top and bottom. Need closeups of that area also. Even if you think this is real, I'd be patient, because you can find a much better worn ring. Patience is the key!!
