It was a nice skull until someone decided to "restore" it by adding those ridiculous replacement pins with an amateurish soldering job.

Agreed, I'd be inclined to carefully sweat them off and clean the back.

It is worth noting that a significant portion of the skull's side edge on the bone end surrounding the pin attachment on the left is missing. It is impossible to say whether that was period damage or whether it occurred during the "repair," but it affects value nonetheless.
