    cap eagle good or bad

    Hi,
    Just got this eagle have read all the other threads on them, but are still confused are the 394/35 eagles good or bad,sorry not the sharpest scan will take some photos,made of a lite metal appears to be copper washed[or could be the base metal] see top of head and silver washed.

                do you think that i should attach it to my cap that is missing it's eagle ?won't match the skull i'm affraid cap is 1937 dated.
                in this photo it's the first time that i have noticed but it appears to have had a triangular shape were the eagle was? why

                  It almost looks like your cap had the political style eagle attached, which was not uncommon btw, or the old style SS eagle. However, your beautiful 394/35 eagle have most likely been attached to a cap like yours in the past (or an officer's cap). If you're able to hide the old eagle impression with your SS-eagle I'd say it would look great on the cap.

                    Hi,
                    I was wondering if it is posible that the cap belonged to a Forgien SS unit ?i say this because the cap was found along with a pair of boots in a large brown paper bag by a building worker in Holland ,the bag is related to the boots and is named in the boots will show photos of boots and bag again someone my be able to read the name.the boots were stuffed with a SS newspaper
