Please write me your opnions... is it OK or fake?
I'm not the expert so I prefer to insure before buying.

Martin the inside is such a mess it is hard to tell anything for sure. The piping looks like smoke troops not artillery. If so then you can rule it out right away as the SS did not use that waffenfarbe. At least not that I am aware of.

I agree with all of my compatriots above --- would discard cap as original.

Yes the Waffen-SS did use that color; however, it was for Nebelwerfer and I believe Gerichts (legal); however, the Waffen-SS didn't have Nebelwerfer abteilung until well after the SS regulations to do away with colored visors (November 1940). The first 5 Waffen-SS divisions had Nebelwerfer Abteilung and the 11. SS-Frw-Panzergrenadier-Division "Nordland" is believed to have had a battalion. As far as legal goes, doubt seriously if there were enlisted legal personnel... the officers that were lawyers, yes, but not support staffs.
